What Is The Career Center?

How many jobs can I post?

You can post as many jobs as you purchased with your package.  Each package is different so please review our pricing page for the latest information.

How long are my jobs posted for?

Individual jobs are posted for 30 days. All of our standard packages last at least 3 months. If you purchase 5, 10, 20, 30 or more jobs in a package you must use them all within the time period stated

Who will see my jobs?

Any IT job applicant can view your jobs.  Since OperationIT.com only posts IT jobs, only IT Professionals will be interested in responding. You may "hide" your jobs at any time.

Can I edit jobs?

>Yes, you have one week to alter your job once it is posted.  You do this at your Client Administration Section on-line.  All postings operate in "Real Time".  This means any changes you make are instantly registered to your jobs.

What happens if I fill a job right away?

You may at times wish to hide your job within the 30 day posting period.  Maybe you have enough resumes or have filled the job or maybe its just no longer open.  Just go to the Client Administration Section, view your current jobs and put a check in the "Hide Job" option.  You can then "unhide" the job the same way.

Who will respond to my jobs?

OpertionIT.com wants to cater to the high end and elusive IT candidates. The ones who typically wouldn't post their resume online.  We understand the need to be private and selective.  That is why we have made resume posting flexible for the IT candidate.  Instead of posting their resume to the general database for all to see, we have given applicants the option to hide their resume from the general database.   This gives them the privacy they deserve and the only clients who will see their resume will be the ones that they post their resume too.  In addition, we will be targeting the high level IT candidates.

How do I know when an applicant is interested in a job?

When you post a job, you decide how applicants respond to your postings.  We encourage you to have applicants post resumes to your Client Administration Section. When you go to the Client Administration Section, you will be able to view the resume responses to your job postings.

How do I contact an applicant?

Whether you receive resumes from an applicant who has responded to your job posting, or through an Applicant Profile Search result, you may contact them by phone, fax or email.  You contact the applicants directly.

How do I view resumes of interested applicants via my Client Administration Section?

Go to the Registered Client Administration Section, view the list of responses, and click on the applicant's name to view his or her resume.

Where does the resume of an interested applicant go?

An interested applicant will respond to your job posting and follow the instructions for forwarding his or her resume.  You can then view the resume in the Registered Clients Administration Section.

How can I manage all the potential responses I may get from interested applicants?

That's where OperationIT.com has made it easy to use.  As a Registered Client with potentially multiple postings, all you need to do is to go to the Registered Client Administration Section where you can add jobs, hide jobs, change your company profile, search for resumes, and view resumes of responding applicants.  You can save, print, or delete any responses you get.
