The OperationIT.com Staffing Exchange is a growing network of staffing firms and corporate recruiters that interact with each other for the sole purpose of filling open IT staffing positions.  Once a member of the Staffing Exchange, staffing firms will have the ability to post their top 100 candidates as well as work on open positions posted by our corporate recruiter members. In addition, staffing firms will be able to post and work on “split” orders from other staffing firms to share resources.  Furthermore, as a member of the Staffing Exchange your firm will be able to form alliances with other firms to help broaden your firms abilities.  By having the ability to network with thousands of other staffing firms that specialize in hundreds of different skill sets, you can tackle any position presented to you by your clients.

Traditionally staffing firms have relied on cold calling, telemarketing and advertising to get job orders.  The Staffing Exchange is meant to assist this process by providing a new resource for new business.  Our goal is to provide hundreds and eventually thousands of open positions posted by corporate recruiters that are meant to be filled by staffing firms.  Our corporate clients will be posting open positions and searching the resumes in the Staffing Exchange looking for qualified candidates.  Once they find a candidate they are interested in, they will need to contact the staffing firm to get in touch with that candidate, since all contact information on Staffing Exchange resumes is hidden.  From that point, the staffing firm will set up a placement agreement and carry out normal staffing duties to make a placement.

In addition to posting candidates, staffing firms will be able to post positions that they have not been able to fill.  In the staffing world, staffing firms often make alliances with other staffing firms to work on orders together.  This is called a “split” where they literally split the placement fee.  One firm has the job order and the other firm supplies the candidate.  Staffing firms will be able to post jobs in the Staffing Exchange that will be labeled SPLIT.  Other staffing firms will be able to work on these jobs and send candidates to these jobs to try and help fill the split order.

The Staffing Exchange is more than a tool – it’s a facilitator for new business so you can exchange your current resource limits with new placement possibilities.
