| I am convinced that OperationIT.com is the best internet recruiting tool in the US.
My research from marketing studies I have seen is that passive computer professionals (those not actively seeking jobs) will put their resumes on IT only sites. The passive market is important as this is where you usually find your best talent. Operation IT allows me to manage every aspect of my recruiting needs. From posting jobs, searching resumes and profiles, managing responses, seeing statistical data. It also has collaborative tools that allow you to communicate with other recruiters to send and receive other resumes. I find newsgroups to be a very valuable tool to network within the IT market. OperationIT has numerous major clients that advertise on their site, making it attractive for applicants to post there. Finally, the latest edition of ADWEEK just came out. Operation IT is 2nd in the most heavily traveled IT specific sites. I have used the number one before and not found it to be effective primarily due to a poor filtering search engine. | Having been a Sr. Recruiter for three years now, I have come across many websites promising great candidates and a quick response time. | We have used several sites to post our jobs and search candidate resumes, but never received such a great response. The candidates that responded to our postings were extremely qualified for the positions and even resided in the appropriate geographic location, when specified.
